Manually adjust values on Y axis

    Hi,

I am wondering if it is possible to let the Y-axis start on 0 on top of the orange bar. I know I can set a minimum point for the Y-axis, but then I lose the blue and orange bar.

Below 0 (on the side of the blue and orange bar, I don't want any numbers.
Does anyone know how I can obtain this?

    Thanks in advance,

Can you explain in more detail what you tried to set a minimum for the y-axis, because that is exactly what I would have expected to do:

    1) figure out the desired y-axis minimum that places 0 on top of the orange bar (in this case -18.2).
    2) Then, to hide the negative y axis labels, a number format code like "0;;0;@". Note that I left the negative number section of the format code empty to indicate that negative numbers should not be displayed. Re: Manually adjust values on Y axis

    Thank you for your help.

When I tried adjusting the minimum value, I tried to adjust it to 18.2 (positive). That's the reason the bars disappeared.

Now, I tried to set it to -18.2. The bars still start at 0. It seems like I cannot add custom number formats either. I read the page you suggested.

Attached is a simplified example. Could you please try to assist me by editing the file?

I can't upload a file for you at the moment. After tinkering with it for a bit, here are the edits I made to your file that achieve what I think you want for this specific example:
    1) Enter -10 and -20 into B1 and B2.
    2) Enter -10 and -20 into B5:B11 and C5:C11.
    3) The auto limits on the axis selected by Excel seemed good, so I left them unchanged.
    4) Get into the Format axis dialog -> Number -> Custom -> Add "#,##0;;0" to the list and use that custom number format code.

Is that closer to what you want?
