Changing layout of treemap chart

Hi

I'm trying to create a treemap chart with the variables in the attached file. However, for some reason Excel will only either place all rectangles next to each other (when using percentages) or only show the Dennis rectangles on top of each other while showing the James rectangles next to each other (when using absolute numbers). Does anyone know why this happens?

I would really like to create a graph where the rectangles for James are on top of each other and the rectangles of Dennis are on top of each other? The graph should show the football-hockey split for James and the split for Dennis but not related to each other (so no James vs. Dennis). All guides I've found online make this seem like it happens automatically
