Hi Guys
Is their way to manipulate the data i have to show the current tax year April 2016 to March 2017 in my pivot table which has the last 5 years worth of data.
I have tried filters but does not work

This sounds like you would need a helper column in the source data to calculate the tax year. So if April 2016 to March 2017 is tax year 2017 then something like Tax Year =IF(Month([Date]) >=4, YEAR[Date]+1,YEAR[Date])).
One spreadsheet to rule them all. One spreadsheet to find them. One spreadsheet to bring them all and at corporate, bind them.
A picture is worth a thousand words, but a sample spreadsheet is more likely to be worked on.
