    How to make first row of chart the axes?

    It seems like I used to do this all the time but for the life of me I can't figure it out now:

    How do I chart a data set so that Excel knows that the first row is the title of the axes? I've tried everything I can think of with the blue data set (see attached)...

    See attached.

    Select cells A1:A5. Then Ctrl-Click cell K1. Now Ctrl-Shift-Down and Ctrl-Shift-Right to select the data area. Now insert your chart.
