I have created a chart but I am having trouble positioning the axis labels
See attached
I want "Person" to span the blue bar and the orange, grey, yellow bar in each case
(the original data is in 5 columns. and so is there a better way to organise the data to produce this type of result i.e. category 1 simple bar and categories 2-4 stacked next to category 1, by person)
Appreciate any help on this

The usual way is to use multi level category labels, but that only looks okay if you have an inner level of labelling.
Alternative is to add dummy series to secondary axis.
Add secondary horizontal axis.
Use select data to change Category labels range.
Set secondary axis labels to Low.
Set primary axis labels to none
Example file has both layouts.
