Histogram bins not working

I have a column of data which is a Likert scale of 1 to 4 and I want to make a histogram of how frequent each rating occurs.

I selected the column to generate a histogram, with another column with values 1,2,3,4 as the bins.

However, when the histogram is generated, the table showing the bins and frequency does not show 1,2,3,4 but I get numbers such as 1.079, 1.158, 1.237 and so on. I am following the exact same instructions I find on various tutorials.

I also followed the troubleshooting guide using a quick search but I don't see the Bins settings under axis options.

If you use Analysis Toolpack then you prabably were not successfull to show proper range with bins.

May be you could attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.

Select the Bins sheet before invoking the Histogram tool.

The programming in the ATP add-in doesn't include workbook/sheet information for the bin range address, but it does for the input range.
