    Pivot Chart with selected columns

    Hello All,

This might been asked before and i apologise in advance it it has, however here goes...

Is there a way to create a pivot chart just using selected columns from the pivot?

In this case, based on the attached file, can I create a pivot chart with just the following columns below that changes as I filter by approver?

    Site
    Site Name
    MAX
    MIN

    Thanks!

No- a pivot chart uses all the data in the pivot other than the grand totals (unless it's a pie chart). You could create a second pivot table that doesn't show the month and use that for your chart?

    Thanks xlnitwit.

I need too have the months in there as a reference.

Thought there might be a way to do it, but looks like it might be difficult or impossible.

    Perhaps this will help.
    1) Link the Site names in the pivot table to column L.
    2) Use Name Manager and OFFSET to create a dynamic chart as per this article.
OFFSET formula in Name Manager > Refers To: =OFFSET(Pivot!$J$7,0,0,COUNT(Pivot!$J$7:$J$81),1)
