    Send interactive pivot table

Is there a way to send the pivot table to another person without the entire workbook?

I have a schedule. There are three row fields that can be expanded or collapsed to provide whatever level of detail you need to see at that moment. I can copy and paste a static picture of it at any level. But, I’d like to bundle it into an email (Outlook 2010 and up) so that you can click the little plusses to your hearts content without the big full spreadsheet.

I like to read and play with excel. So, I don’t mind reading a book or two if that is what it takes.

    Thanks for looking.

Your article taught me some of the background process and if nothing else I can attach a slimmer workbook than the one that is the source for the pivot table.

    Thanks. It helps.

    Re: Send interactive pivot table

had a look, could not find anything out of the box that works like you are mentioning
there maybe something out there that does it ...but its probably proprietary stuff
not sure how many people that would be willing to spend money on developing something just to bypass clicking/opening an attachment

another option maybe a hosted/cloud pivot table on website
though duplicate of data/data integrity/security etc comes into play then..a bit beyond my scope.....just know its out there
