Creating chart using saved data

I'm not sure what type of chart I need to use, to show users and their activities along with start time and finish time.

Although this seems more of a general question about types of "charts that might be used to display start and stop times of activities". A search of internet sites, using the description inside the quotation marks, seems to often mention gantt charts. You can get more information about making a gantt chart using Excel at this link.
If you need assistance in producing a gantt chart for your data, it would be helpful if you could upload a desensitized sample.
