Advanced Slicer on Pivot

Hello,

I'm looking at a couple of issues with pivot slicers:
1. slicers for quantity that are dependent on the transactions selected (attached with details). since its a sum of transaction, when i put filters on transactions i cant put filter on the summed column.
2. customized range of slicer. filter but quantity range like 0-100 200-300 etc rather than have all the quantities listed.

I would really appreciate your help.

Hi spr,

I think you can only group on the Row Label column. Since your Quantity is over to the right, I don't think you can group on it. I think the closest you can get to what I think you want is by using the Row label dropdown and then filter the VALUES. You can do a more value filters using.

ok, what about custom range for quantity. can i get filters on ranges from 100-300 etc rather than scroll through all the quantities in the slicer?

As for ranges in the slicer, maybe this approach using the auxiliary column?

on the same topic, can i put a count on col A outside the pivot like I'm doing a summary of the data filtered?
