How to arrange a selected amount of activities based on starting date in a pivot table?

Hello,

I am currently making a dashboard where I want to show the first 15 activities that will start that month. So therefore I need certrain things:
1. Information sheet
2. Table sheet (To filter the information on this month and to be able to make a pivot table) I can't make a table of the information sheet because that sheet has to be untouched.
3. Pivot table (To link my dashboard information to)
4. The dashboard itself.

I can't figure out how I can sort the information based on date's. The information on the dashboard is always alphabetical. How can I fix this?

Power Query for

• Excel 2010 Pro Plus or Excel 2013 Pro Plus can be downloaded as free add-in from MS site (choose correct version). I suggest Power Pivot also
• Excel 2016 or Excel 365 is built-in, aka Get&Transform
