I'm trying to create a bar graph in excel. The data I have is in two columns and looks something like this:
1 4
5 10
6 12
When I create a graph with this data, I get three equally spaced bars of heights 4, 10 and 12. What I want is a bar of height 4, and then 3 spaces (representing the absence of data for data points 2, 3, 4) and then a bar of height 10 followed by a bar of height 12. How do I achieve this?
You need to add the missing data points with zero values in your source table:
