Subtotals and design

Dear good people of excelforum.com,

I need some guidance on designing a pivot table. In the attached image, you can see that I'm working with a pivot table w/ percentage data. Where I'm being held up is with the subtotals.

I'm suppose to maintain the grey total line under each year ("2017 total" and "2016 total") as well as the grand total at the bottom. However, I need to remove the "COM total" and column totals ("A1 total", "A10 total", etc). When I remove the column totals in the design tab, I lose the grey line as well. How do I keep the yearly totals and the grand total, while losing everything else?
