    Too many Extra rows in Pivot Table

    I'm displaying a pivot table using Power Pivot. The main row header is the year. Secondary level is a month. Third level is Vendor names. When drilled down the pivot table shows each vendor with dollar volume.


    Example (as you can see, vendors with no data as filters still show up as a row but have blank dollar amounts. I'd like Vendors like CDE Vendor not to show at all:

    2018
    ----May
    --------ABC Vendor____$35,000
    --------BCD Vendor____$41,000
    --------CDE Vendor
    --------DEF Vendor____$12,000


    There are about 100 vendors showing even though only 5 or so may have data in them per the selections made in the slicers. Any ideas as to why you get the entire list even though the data should be filtering?

    Attach a sample workbook (not a picture or pasted copy). Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

    Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.
