Refreshing Pivot Tables

    Refreshing Pivot Tables

    When I get the answer I'll probably feel silly.

    Why when I refresh the Pivot table does the Filter drop down still include old data which is now gone from the Pivot table, but is still there as as an available filter.
    How do I just get the current data?

    Thanks, selected none under Pivot table options, selected "None" in the retain data field. and it works fine.
