How to NOT chart Zero Values on a PivotChart?

In my PivotTable, I have two calculated fields that show the % difference from the previous year. In both of these calculated fields, several cells are blank since there wasn't data from the previous year to calculate from.

However, for the years there wasn't a growth %...it's plotting those years as "0.00%". I would like the PivotChart to ONLY show data points with non-zero values.

I've already tried adjusting both "For error values show:" & "For empty cells show:" in the PivotTable options...no luck

    Any suggestions?

    Thank!

    DJ

Try changing this setting then refresh your pivot table.

    Kersplash,

I changed to "NONE" and refreshed and nothing happened. Is there anything else you'd recommend with "For error values show:" & "For empty cells show:" or another option altogether?

Can you attach a small sample of just that component of the pivot table and chart?

    Does this help?

I'd prefer the pivot chart not show any of the "0.00%" or "-100.00"

Not an image, the actual workbook.

Go Advanced -> Manage Attachments -> Upload

Desensitise and only include the columns required to make the pivot table and chart display the problem.

really veering off topic here...but the "Upload" doesn't seem to be working for me - Right when I upload my template, the only other option is to "close this window". How can I send it to you???

What should be shown if the value is zero? The chart is showing that there is zero growth.

Re: How to NOT chart Zero Values on a PivotChart?

I'm hoping there's a way to just show the non-zero values.

Also, PREVIOUS 5Y did not have 2023 data (that's why it's showing -100.00%).

The screenshot below is what I'd like to show

I don't know the solution, but I find that pivot charts aren't always the best way to display your data. I find them less flexible than copying your resultant data to another table and using a normal chart.
