Setting x and y range in chart

    Hi
Is it possible to make a XY chart read the x (and y) range from values given in cells ?

It's say that I have A1 = 0 and A2 = 100 and what my chart to have theses values as min and max on the x-axis- is it possible to make the chart read these values ?

(Of cause I can set the range by formatting the chart - but I looking for a smarter way to do this :-))

    Regards Torben

Excel does not have a built in way to link chart axis parameters to cells in the spreadsheet. However, here's a tutorial that shows how to put together a VBA procedure that will accomplish this: https://peltiertech.com/link-excel-c...lues-in-cells/

A chart will automatically set the axis min and max based on the data. If you do not like the values it selects automatically, the only way to do this by specifying the values in cells is to use macros. Excel does not have a way to use formulas or cells for the min and max of an axis.
