Difference From - return blank or zero

    Hi-

Thanks in advance for your assistance. Not exactly sure how to explain. I have a pivot to show the variance in cost by item bought at different locations but would like to return a zero or blank if one of warehouse has no purchases for comparison. Thank you. CW

Can you attach a workbook showing your expected result.

It's not clear (to me) what you want the output to look like.

Mock it up in the attachment to show what the end result for your sample should look like.

the Goal is to see if warehouse "AD" is buying better or worse than warehouse "OTH"

If there are no cases purchased or either warehouse I want column F to return blank.

Then I want col. F to calculate the total bottom line spend impact of warehouse AD.

    See attached. Thanks

You could populate column H (starting with H12 and dragged down as far as needed) using:
    Formula: copy to clipboard

    I12 and down could read: =IF(A12="Grand Total",SUM(I$11:I11),IFERROR(H12*B12,""))
