Pivot table with multiple columns - values not right

    Hello

I am trying to produce a pivot table with multiple columns, but when I do, the values for the first column are populated correctly, but then those values are just replicated across the other columns which is not correct.

I am attaching screenshots of what I have done.

    What have I done wrong?

Thank you very much for your help

Attach a sample workbook (not a picture or pasted copy). Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.

Re: Pivot table with multiple columns - values not right

    Hello,

I have uploaded a worksheet with the data (a subset of the data, as it was too large to upload) I am trying to turn into the pivot, and the pivot table (in same worksheet).

The pivot table has the right appearance (ie I would like to know the totals for each category M, P, A etc for each decile) but the data is not right in any of the columns.

Thank you very much for your help

Turn the counter into a sum. If there is also text in the column with data, then such a column in the data field will automatically show the counter, not the sum.
Of course, do not forget to replace Ctrl H ".. C" with an empty one.

Thank you very much! This works :-)
