Exclamation Add column / data to appended table

Hi Everyone, I have two worksheets with a simple table on each. They are a record of drawing & document numbers (Drg001 Drg002 Doc1000 etc...) and their names (schematic, Layout, etc...) See screen shots 1 & 2

I have managed to Append these on a third worksheet so that they appear as one long tabulated list (Alphabetically under the same two headings 'Number' & 'Name') and would now like to add more columns to start adding Issue information. See screen shot 3, where I have added a third column and manually input issue numbers but upon every refresh this column keeps jumbling around the issue numbers??!

Is their a way to keep the association with the row it is input on? Am I going about the hard way? Any guidance appreciated. Thanks

Why not store all the info in a single table?

Hi Kersplash - need to keep separate as these first 2 sheets will be compiled by different departments. I then need to merge the data together in one table so that a third department can manage the Issuing.
Also, the issuing page will likely get quite large with many of the additional columns. A bit like shown below.

Essentially I need a table which populates the first two columns (from other tables or sheets) and then allows additional data to be added / linked to them. Can this be done?

Re: Add column / data to appended table

Attached is a rough draft of my interpretation of what may help.
Sheets Dept1 and Dept2 represent the data that is compiled by the departments.
Sheets Drg's and Doc's represent what might be called helper sheets.
-The first two columns in each of these sheets is populated using: =IF(Dept1!A2<>"",Dept1!A2,"")
-The columns headed 1:15 are where the issue information is added
Sheet5 is the compilation of the two lists and issue information.
-The first two columns are populated using:
    Formula: copy to clipboard

Note that post #1 indicates that you already have a formula/code to populate this information alphabetically, so the above formula is simply used for the purpose of demonstration.
-The columns headed 1:15 are populated using:
    Formula: copy to clipboard

Test by adding a Doc and Doc name to the Dept2 sheet then add issue information on the Doc's sheet and look at the changes that occur on sheet5.
I imagine that there will need to be modifications based on the actual data, so If you need help in applying the above please upload a sample (as opposed to a screen shot) of the two spreadsheets that will be provided by the departments as well as a spreadsheet that shows the desired final output.
