Plotting Buy and Sell Data on Candlestick Chart in Excel

From what I have seen of Excel's specialty charts (like the open high low close chart), they do not have the ability to add additional information onto the same chart. As I recall, a candlestick chart looks a lot like a box and whiskers chart which can be created from the ground up as a stacked column chart. Because a stacked column chart is a regular chart type, you can add however many data series you want to the chart, and you can combine it with other chart types, if desired, to make different combination charts.
