Overall Rank in Pivot Table with Multiple Rows

    Hi,

I have a pivot table with multiple required rows - Manager, Supervisor, Employee. I need to rank a particular KPI (Value) at an Employee level (let's call it "Productivity"). So, if I had 15 employees, I'd want a ranking of 1-15.

If I just add Employee to the Row and Productivity to the Value, it's rather simple. I created a second Productivity value and selected "Show Values As > Rank Largest to Smallest" with base field = Employee. This works great.

But, when I add Supervisor to the Row, the ranking is done at each Supervisor. I need the ranking to still be 1-15, not a separate calculation by Supervisor. I confirmed that the ranking field is still set at "Show Values As > Rank Largest to Smallest" with base field = Employee.

How do I maintain an overall ranking by Employee when I have multiple Rows?

Attached is an example. Thanks so much for the help. I'm struggling with this one.

    Thanks again,

    Rob

Re: Overall Rank in Pivot Table with Multiple Rows

OP stated in the Commercial Services forum...

EDIT: I posted this in the free forum as well, but decided to give the commercial forum a try. I've sent a note to the Admin to remove/delete from the free forum.
