Exclamation 2 data sets 1 chart (best, column bar) with legend for comparison

how do I a) get both data labels (domestic and import to show up with their respective categories, b) include a legend.
am simply organizing the date wrong?

    Sorry for off-topic interjection:

Although there is no official rule regarding this behaviour, we request that wherever possible both the question AND the answer be provided in substantive detail here within the thread. An attached workbook is an excellent aid for posing a question and offering a solution, but solely doing that with no in thread explanation makes it difficult for researchers to understand or consider the Q & A of this thread without downloading what may be a pointless doc to them, if they can do that at all. Doing that also hides the content from search engines so others may never benefit from this.

Please understand Miss Moderator, that this my first time ever posting a thread so I have no idea what "substantive details" are. I apologize if my questions are unclear but again I rarely ask the right questions, because I do not know exactlywhat I want, just a rough guesstimate. Thank you for your understanding-llyod276.

In the end this is what I came up with as best as i could get when messing around with the data. Pls see sheet three. Thank you both for the results you have submitted, "rcm" and "Crooza". I wish there was a way to take the results and put the columns side by side in descending order, but I do not think excel allows for this.

You will need to prepare the data in order to create 2 series and for it to be sorted.
The assumption is sorting is within Domestic and Import.

The series overlap is zero and the column gap has been reduced.

gorgeous, I love it. and here's the end result i really wanted using your formula +1. (the +1 refers to an added stat, like dungeons and dragons stat, sorry i'm a nerd.)
I actually figured this out using a different graph for a different set of values (scatter plot). so far I've invested 16 hours into this project and its due wednesday
