Aging Column Chart (2 question)

Hi, i have a list of customer, the amount they owe and the period. (Current, 1-30 days, 31-60 days etc etc)
I have a total at the bottom row. I wish to create a Chart that show how much is being owe at different period.

I have 2 ways,
1) using the stacked column (however i would need to manually change the colour)
2) creating another data link to the raw data with Period at Row1 and Total at Row2 and use a normal Column Chart

However, i know i can directly acheieve without needing to creating another data source. Please see my attachment for example. And appreciate if someone can teach me how to do.

I've attached your file with a chart that just charts the age ranges and totals.

The below link takes you through selecting specific data for the chart, it uses a Line chart but the principal is the same.

You would need to use a pivot chart in order to get the values summed.

Summing the data using formula and charting the results is the normal approach
