pivot table doesn't show dates in chronological order

Hi, I created a pivot table in the excel.
However, in I found the dates are not shown in time order (see worksheet "pivot", "month" column.
Even if I set the filter in oldest to newest order, but it doesn't work.
Just wondering how I can make it to show in chronological order?

another question:
The pivot table is according to different customers.
In customer "abc", I made one whole column in light blue colour.
However, when I choose others customers, and then return back to "abc", the colour doesn't fill in every cell which was suppose to show.
also the format (dates, aligh right/left, etc) doesn't apply anymore if I choose another customer and choose back the one.
How can I fix it?
If that's possible, I prefer the data not be preserved and refresh every time when I delete some column in "MASTER" sheet.

Can you move the Date column to the first position in Pivot table (Drag it up to the 1st position in ROWS). I believe that the Pivot table sorts from 1st column, then 2nd, and so on.

'another question' - I don't follow you- What /who is customer 'abc'? If you want to color, you could filter the data, then color the cells. OR add another field (aka a helper field) in the accounts you want to color. Also, if you copy your pivot to another place/ tab....you can then use the filter on Color

I dragged the date column to the first and it worked!

My second question is, even if i colour the cells of a certain whole column, once I refresh it, the colour in some cells are gone..
Also, if I click align right, but once I refresh it, it returns back to the previous conditions when I created the pivot (meaning not aligned right).
I don't know how to solve this problem...

Pivot tables are dynamic...once you refresh they go back to 'original' formatting. If you copy the Pivot Table and paste to another location you can change colors there and it will keep colors. Or you could use conditional formatting on the pivot table
