Question Mean value from pivot table

    Hi Everyone,

I have the blow pivot table...

    test.PNG

I am tyring to pull the appt length of the most frequently occuring # of apts

so in the above case it would return a value of "30 mins"

Can anyone let me know how best to do this?

    Thanks,
    Charlie

Re: Mean value from pivot table

If you filter '# of apts' by the Top 1 value this should give you what you want.

    Hi Kersplash,

    Thank you for the response,

The pivot table is filtered with a splicer, what I need is formula to return the value of the most frequently occurring appt length.

    Is this possible?

    Thanks,
    Charlie

Just create a new pivot table if you like that isn't connected to a slicer.

Then right-click in one of the 'app length' cells and select Filter -> Top 10. Then select the Top 1.

I need a formula to pick this value up.

Its for a dashbaord and I want the value to update depending on the splicer.
