I need a 7 days chart by the hour

Do you have a specific chart type in mind, or are you unsure what chart type you want to use?
My first thought would be to use something like a Gantt chart, but I'm not sure if that represents what you want. Here are a couple of examples of creating a Gantt chart as a stacked bar chart:
1) https://www.excelforum.com/excel-cha...ml#post5058704 Note that there was some unanswered questions about exact formulas to put into the spreadsheet, but the basic process of creating a stacked bar Gantt chart is illustrated.
2) https://www.excelforum.com/excel-cha...ml#post4738813 with additional ideas for creating a Gantt chart in Excel.
Is that helpful, or do you have something else in mind?

I used gantt but when the hour goes past the 24:00 I'm not sure how to make it happen.
Without knowing exactly what you tried, I cannot say what should fix it. What number format did you use? Did you use an elapsed time "[hh]:mm" format or did you use a time of day "hh:mm" format? Assuming you used a time of day format (since many are not even aware of the elapsed time format), you might revisit your Gantt chart attempts and try the elapsed time format. That may be all that is needed to get your time axis to go from 0 to 168 hours.I used gantt but when the hour goes past the 24:00 I'm not sure how to make it happen.
I am having trouble visualizing what you are wanting to do with a line chart. The only thing I can visualize is an XY scatter chart with time (for 0 to 168 hours or 0 to 7 days or 0 to 7 days formatted as elapsed time) on the horizontal axis and machine number on the vertical axis and multiple series.
Some of the difficulty could come from not understanding how Excel works with date/time information. If you are unfamiliar with Excel's date/time serial number system, you might review something like this: http://www.cpearson.com/Excel/datetime.htm
It might also help to upload a sample file that includes some example data, examples of what you have tried to do that has not worked, and a description of what you need to do.
thanks again,
here is what I have in mind
at the bottom I will enter the time the tool is used during the day on different shift and on top we will see the graph

Hello El fifo and Welcome to Excel Forum.
See if this will help.
Values in row three are changed to date and time although only the time is shown.
