Scatter chart with pivot table(4 areas)

    Hi

I have a pivot table from SAP with following:
Description of functional location in rows, count of notifications and sum of total cost in values.

I would like to make a scatter chart with the notifications on x-axis, cost on y-axis and the description in the legend (referring to a color of a point). And then I can divide it in 4 areas(high cost/high notification; low cost/high notification;...)
I managed to make one (not with the pivot tho) by selecting the description as series name, and then x and y for cost and notification. However, I must do every single row separately. Is there a way to just select the entire columns? I have over 350 rows so doing everything separately is impossible.

    Kind regards

pivot tables and scatter charts do not get along in Excel (not sure why Excel's programmers decided that). Assuming I understand (a sample file uploaded to the forum would help), I would use the techniques described here https://peltiertech.com/regular-char...-pivot-tables/ to create a scatter chart from the pivot table. Then I would select the data series -> format selection -> vary colors by point. Getting the description as the series name will not be possible this way (if it is necessary, we can do something different), but you can easily use data labels to attach the description to each data point. With 350 points, that might be too much text in the chart and make it hard to read, but I would probably start there to see if that is something I could work with.
