Charting graphs with 1 variable and three annotations

    Hello

I have been trying to chart a table that looks like this
    example.png

And this is sort of what I wish my graph looked like:

    example2.png

where the color of the ontology matches the library (for example, when column A is KEGG, column C is orange) and an annotation with a color that refers to a cluster (for example, when B is 3, I get an orange square, and when B is 1, I get a blue one)

but his is what I am ending up with

    example3.png

I wish I could at least add a new data series with a different plotting scheme, such as colors instead of bar graph, and I have no idea how I could change the colors of font the main annotation (ontology).

would you say excel is even the tool that fits that job?

Excel is one of many tools for this kind of thing. It is not clear to me exactly what you want, but what you seem to be describing to me would be handled by a pivot table (whether in Excel or other database application). If you are unfamiliar with pivot tables in Excel, you might review this: https://www.excel-easy.com/data-****...ot-tables.html In your file I:
    1) Select the table -> Insert -> pivot table -> choose location and such.
    2) Put "ontology" in the row labels, cluster in the column labels, and sum of score in the values field.
    3) Select the pivot table and insert a column or bar chart.

Is that close to what you want?
