Recreate Flourish Chart in Excel - ideas?

Hi all,

I've been using Flourish to create the below chart, but would like to have a way of doing it within Excel, both for future reliability, and so that I can just update the data behind it and have the chart update automatically, rather than using flourish then pasting a picture into the sheet.

Can you recommend an add-in or a way of manipulating an existing chart type to make it do this?

Each circle represents a project, and the colour represents the risk rating assigned to it.

What I see is a basic clustered and stacked column chart with colored circles as the "fill" for the stacked columns. To create something like this in Excel:

0) If your data are not yet summarized to count how many of each type of project, you will need to add a pivot table or formulas to compute the summary data.
1) Create the clustered and stacked column chart (this tutorial is the one I use: https://peltiertech.com/clustered-st...mn-bar-charts/ ). Note that it is a regular stacked column chart paying careful attention to data arrangement in the spreadsheet.
2) Replace the regular column fill with "pictures" of circles https://support.office.com/en-us/art...8-EFE6CB858D10 Be sure to use the "stack and scale with 1 unit per picture" option. If you don't yet have pictures of circles somewhere in your clipart, create those pictures using Paint or your favorite drawing program.

That should be close.
