    Image to replace a stacked bar in a chart

    Hi All,

    Hopefully someone can help.

    I am trying to replace a stacked bar chart with an image of a person (silhouette/transparent) so the values graphed fill up the body of the person.

    Stacked bar is easy enough, struggling with (in this order):

    1, Finding a transparent person outline (anything I find has a background that I cant remove....???)

    2, Then making the stacked data fill it

    Thanks
    seash

    A google search of a 'human body silhouette' provided a bunch of free black/white pictures. Just pick one that fits your needs and copy->paste it into Excel.

    You now need to set the transparent color. In Excel, select the picture and go to the Format tool bar. Color->Set Transparent Color and then click on the silhouette. Note that you want the background, as that will hide part of the bar. Now size that picture so that it covers one of the bars. Copy and paste that picture multiple times so that you have one for each bar and place them over the bars.

    Hi pauleyb,

    thanks for your response,

    I'm still struggling, I found some silhouettes, but on changing the transparency it effects the whole image, background included.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

    Not Transparency, Color->Set Transparent Color
