Unhappy Add a % change YoY column in Pivot Table

Seemingly simple issue, but I'm not sure it's actually possible. *I can get this outside the pivot table manually, but I want it within the Pivot for ease of use/display*

I want to calculate the % and $ difference between 2018 and 2019 sales by customer and by item so that I can dynamically expand and collapse the table for more/less detail.

Calculated fields only seem to allow calculations from total sales, not by the columns grouped by year as I'd like. Is this possible?

    Raw data fields:
    Customer; Item; Sales; Date

    Pivot Summary provides:
    Rows: Customer; Item
    Columns: Years (2018, 2019)
    Values: Sales

    I want:
Columns: % Change YoY, $ Change YoY

    THANK YOU!

Any thoughts, even a negative confirmation and I'll stop thinking about it.

    Much appreciated.

    Hello,
To help you, add a file with your data (distort data before sending).
    Regards

Ugh. Forum not letting me add an attachment. I'll try a link:

    Hope that works.

I have transformed your data with Power Query. The table after transformation serves as a data source for the pivot. In the pivot you need to add a simple calculation field (Analysis tab).
This is one of the ways.

Re: Add a % change YoY column in Pivot Table

Thank you for your help - I switched out of IT years ago and am in sales right now. So I've been out of recent changes. My IT department is figuring out why I don't have and can't add power pivot. I appreciate your help, I'm excited to use the model you created when they're done updating my version (probably next week).
