Hi all
I have managed to connect the slicer to different data sources using data modal (see the diagram red, blue, black, green) pivot can be connected with the slicer. However the black (with yellow highlight) fail to connect to the slicer.
Any idea?

try steps outlined in the below referenced thread (post#2)

you can have connection issues if some of the field settings are configured differently in each pivot (notably incl. field used in/as Slicer)
edit: just realised it was your post and, whilst you didn't respond at the time, the steps outlined in above thread would resolve the issue in the sample file attached at the time.
