Hi,
Can anyone explain why "show items with no data" not working if we add data to the data model.
I am using Slicers and Timeline to filter data to develop dashboard. The target rows must be visible.

hi Kersplash,
The function is not available for Add data to the data model.
Deleted by JeteMc as what I posted was incorrect. Thank You to CK76 for giving the correct information.

Consider taking the time to add to the reputation of everybody that has taken the time to respond to your query.
FYI - All Data Models are OLAP. You can confirm this by using VBA.
Assuming that there is only one PivotCache in the workbook. If True is returned. It's OLAP based.
You can also check by selecting PivotTable and then going to PivotTable ->Analyze ribbon tool and checing If "OLAP Tools" is available or not. Please Login or Register to view this content.
CUBE function conversion is only available for OLAP based pivots.
As for OP's question. Try using PivotTable-Options, Display tab, "Show items" option.

Hi CK76,
Thanks for clarification on "Show Items with no data" I have found workaround to overcome the issue.
Create multiple pivot table and filter single item. When slicer/Timeline clicked and the specific data for that range not found, the hidden rows will not move beyond the pivot table header. Thus, the text box mapped to specific cell in pivot table range will display 0.
