Linking source data charts with macros applied

    hi folks,
    i have 2 files linked.
1 file simply shows the same graphs as the other file (the source one)
The source file has a macro which, when a section is closed on any given worksheet, the graph at the front does not show the data for that particular worksheet.

so for example on the source file i've attached, there are 7 tabs with data on it, and 7 lines on the graph, but i have closed the row grouping on 4 of them, and so the graph only shows 3 remaining lines, for 3 worksheets of data which have the grouping expanded.

i then copy and paste this file into a reporting file, and it shows the 3 lines only. However, if i close the Source file, the Reporting file shows all 7 lines of data.
I do not want it to ignore the macro in the other workbook and to show all 7 lines, i want it to continue showing 3 lines as per the source file - so that whenever i update the source file, when i open the reporting file it will continue to show just the data that is showing in the source file.

how do i do this? is it possible?

    thank you
