Correct date and filters on pivot charts

    Hi all,
I am trying to set up a dashboard with several graphs pulling data from a single dataset.
I can set the graphs up fine, but when I want to use any filters, or add slicers the data goes to pot.
I have included a file so you can see my point.
The date range is set to weekly intervals, but when I add a filter or slicer, it changes to individual days, so the data does not show.
I have added several filters to one graph, that I want it to show the value of that filter on a selected date, but as the date Is not showing as the file is, they do not work.
I then want to link the date slicer to all graphs to show a representation of the data on that specific day.
Could anyone please help with this?

    Thanks in advance.
    J.

    Hi

Have you tried a Timeline Slicer?

    Hi,
    Thanks for your reply.
Yes I have, unfortunately, that shows no data until you put a week in(what I want) but does nothing with the rest of the filters. It does not allow me to filter by week (per row in the dataset) or by each of the items in the filter.

Re: Correct date and filters on pivot charts

The data does not seem to all be pulling from a single data set. The 2018 and 2019 external stores data pulls from columns that are not in table 1.
I included those columns in the table using the formulas by which they were originally produced. I then transformed that table into a regular data set (Dataset1) using Get & Transform which is a standard of the 2019 version of Excel.
    Next I produced three pivot tables from Dataset1 (Ext1, Dry1 and Frozen1)
The pivot charts produced are all connected to the timeline slicer on the Dash1 sheet.
Note: I believe that to show data on a specific day you would need to change the chart type, to say line with markers.
