    Need to combine data

I am usually able to Google what I need to do in Excel and find an answer, but for this problem, I don't know what that which I'm trying to accomplish is called, so my searches have not been very successful. Please advise on what I should search or how I should go about solving this issue.

In a workbook that contains multiple tabs. Each tab has a course subject by grade level. For example Tab 1- 6th grade math Tab 2- 6th grade English Tab 3 6th grade science and so on.
On each tab there is a list of the students who qualify to take the Honors/Advanced section of that course.
I also have a summary tab that combines all of the six grade courses, and I have sorted it by student name any student who qualifies for more than one honors course (they appear on more than one tab) has all of their courses listed together.
I need to somehow shift this so that the student's name appears only once on the summary tab, with all of the course selections following the name on the same row.

    I have attached an example.

Which version of Excel do you have? Please look at the splash screen when you launch it, and then update your user profile.

The solution offered will depend on the version you have. Thanks.

    Re: Need to combine data

As modeled in the attached copy of the file,
The student names are populated using: =IFERROR(IF(MATCH(0,INDEX(COUNTIF(D$4:D4,A$5:A$20),,),)>COUNTA(A$5:A$20),"",INDEX(A$5:A$20,MATCH(0,INDEX(COUNTIF(D$4:D4,A$5:A$20),,),))),"")
The courses are populated using: =IF($D5="","",IFERROR(INDEX($B$5:$B$15,AGGREGATE(15,6,(ROW($A$5:$A$15)-ROW($A$4))/($A$5:$A$15=$D5),COLUMNS($A$1:A$1))),""))
Let us know if you have any questions.
