How to make a dynamic line chart with multiple comparison options

    Hi there,

I have a question about my dataset. I want to make a line chart of the soda sales of different brands within different stores.

    Database is as follows:

Store: YEAR QUARTER COKE sales FANTA sales DR PEPPER sales
    1 2019 Q1 12 14 4
    1 2019 Q2 24 12 2
    1 2019 Q3 25 12 2
    1 2019 Q4 24 42 12
    2 2019 Q1 14 32 2
    2 2019 Q2 24 12 4
    2 2019 Q3 47 18 2
    2 2019 Q4 24 12 22
    3 2019 Q1 34 11 3
    3 2019 Q2 27 12 2
    3 2019 Q3 44 12 2
    3 2019 Q4 28 13 1

So, what I would like to see in the line chart is the individual development of all the type of soda sales within each store, which is easy to do by applying the filter option in excel. however, what I also would like to know is how well store 1 does on coke in the same time periods compred to store 2 and 3. I would like to include this in just one graph. Anyone a suggestion? Thanks!

    Kind regards,

    DD

Pivot Table and Pivot Chart is your friend. Along with slicer controls.

This will allow for quick slicing and dicing of data for your analysis and visual.

I'd recommend starting by flattening your data structure.

Ex: Store, Year, Quarter, Sales, Drink type as header (Drink type will be attribute column holding Coke, Fanta etc).
