Auto-Advance Data in Graphs

Good morning!

Is there any way to auto-populate data as it waits for information? We are tracking Staff numbers through the end of the year; boss would currently like to see July - September data, but not the leveled-out dots currently showing from October-December.

What is the way for the data to not show right now, but calculate into the graph as soon as I enter the data?

What values are in the cells for Oct-Dec? If they are blank cells then you can click on the chart, go to the Design panel, Data Source, Hidden and Empty Cells, and check Show Empty Cells as Gaps.
