    Linking Slicer between tables

I have 5 worksheet, each with a different data set, but all have a common data type (column), I have inserted a table in each worksheet, on a new sheet I have inserted a Pivot Table, Then used the data model to generate 5 new Pivot Tables, each looking at one of the tables in each of the WorkSheets. I have created a relations ship between the first table and each of the 4 other tables based on the one common types (column), I have inserted a slicer for the first Pivot Table and then with the Report Connections menu have linked the slicer to the other 4 pivot tables... I have learnt this from You Tube... and it was fairly straight forward.. But it doesn't seem to work.. any suggestions??

    Welcome to the forum

Please attach a sample workbook (not a picture or pasted copy). Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.

The spreadsheet is too big to load up... I'll try and amke a new one with a smaller dataset and see if I can replicate the problem

Since you have connections between the 5 tables I assume that you have Get & Transform, try merging your source data sets as modeled on the Merge sheet in the attached copy of the file.
