Dougnut and pie charts no longer round in shape!

Hi all,

I've come across a strange bug in Excel. When I insert a pie chart or doughnut chart, it no longer appear as a round shape (see image). It doesn't seem to be a chart template issue as all the default templates (except one) all show the same problem. The only one that doesn't uses a 3D effect, and curiously I have found that if I add a 3D effect to a pie chart it resolves the problem.

I've tried using completely new spreadsheets too, so it doesn't seem to be a corruption in the file.

Has anyone else experienced this issue or know how to fix? I have run a repair of my office installation, checked for updates, and rebooted and still it is not resolved.

I managed to resolve this issue today by resetting the AMD Radeon display driver Global Settings to their defaults. Not sure which setting was the culprit, but this seems to have done the trick. Just adding the fix to this post in case anyone else experiences a similar problem in the future.
