Plot between 2 dates (finds data)

Hello,
I am making an issue logger which counts the current cumulative number of open and closed tickets.
The user enters an open date and a closed date.
I'd like to enter 2 dates and have excel look through my table and plot the number of open (columnG) and closed (columnF) tickets between those dates.
Essentially, the from and to date would be the x axis range.

Currently, if the user wanted to plot between 04/10/19 and 08/10/19, the start value would be 2 closed and 1 open.
I'd also like the option to reset the counter for the selected period only (i am thinking this could be done by adding 2 more columns and using an offset/match/index to the from and to date and subtract from F and G).

Please update your profile with the Excel version you are using: your profile currently states Excel 2003, but you've attached a .xlsx file, which indicates 2007 or later. There may be different solutions available for your problem, based on the actual version you are using.
