Question Horizontal Bar Chart that shows Ranges of values

I am trying to setup a horizontal representation that compares some different components that each have a range of values.

The horizontal bar charts are not giving me the correct chart that I would like.

For example, I have three separate components and each has a range.
    A-1" diameter - has a range of 3,000 to 30,000
    A-3.5" diam. - range of 300 to 10,000
    A-6.5" diam. - range of 50 to 5,000

I would like to have three separate bars stacked on top of each other showing their individual ranges, starting at their min value and ending at their max value.

Then be able to have a second separate set of test values with similar values shown in a different part of the graph

    B-1" diameter - has a range of 4,000 to 25,000
    B-3.5" diam. - range of 350 to 12,000
    B-6.5" diam. - range of 50 to 4,000

I hope this makes sense and thank you for any help.

    Welcome to the forum

Please attach a sample workbook (not a picture or pasted copy). Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.

Two ways, both include changing either the layout of your data or the max value.

First chart plots Max and Min as clustered bar. The format the overlap of bars to 100% and change colour of Min series to that of the plotarea.

Second chart plots Min and (Max-Min) data as stacked bar. Remove the fill of the Min series.

For both charts set the vertical axis to cross at maximum and in reverse order to get the A-1" category at the top.
