Pivot table showing the wrong data, how can I select the columns I want?

    Hi,

I have a pivot table that has 4 columns. 2 of them are percentage columns, and 2 of them are number columns. Each percentage column corresponds to a number column. When I try to create a chart, it doesn't let me see the percentages, only the numbers. I would like the Y axis to be percent (0-100%), and the X column to be the Rows in my pivot table. Please see the attached image. Any ideas??

    Welcome to the forum

Please attach a sample workbook (not a picture or pasted copy). Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.

The data set is huge and I don't have the time to create another workbook just for the purpose of providing a sample. I would think if someone knew the answer to my question, they could answer without the need for a file or image even. From reading online, it seems you cannot hide unwanted columns from a chart... but then I would at least want to select which metric to use for the Y axis. Everything that is required to answer my question is available in the first post. Thank you.

the mixture of percentages and integer values on the same axis is causing the problem. Percentages would be a value been 0 and 1. Your integer data forces the scale to be 0 to 8000. even 100% would be invisible.

Move the percentages to the secondary axis.
If you leave the percentages as columns then you will have the 2 columns in front of each other, so change them to line chart type. You will still have the problem that the lines data points will be positioned between the columns rather than centered over each column.
    Cheers
