I am having a hard time getting this data into a stacked bar chart. WHere each bar contains the sub-bars. How should i set up the data so it is done correctly? The way the data is now it makes a single bar for each item. Thanks so much.

I find that a big part (often the biggest part) of creating charts is really spreadsheet work arranging the data in the spreadsheet. If you arrange the data correctly in the sheet, then the chart creates itself.
Most of Excel's charts are looking for data arranged like this:It will use the values in the first column (row) as the category axis labels, the values in the first row (column) as the series names, and the values in each column (row) to position the data points. You will need to arrange your data something like this in order to easily create a stacked bar/column chart. In your sample file, what are you treating as "categories"? What do you want to treat as "series names"? What are the values you want included in the body of the chart? Please Login or Register to view this content.

So in my data, series one would be MDX. THe categories for MDX are systems, verigne, aries, labcorp, and other.
The second series is LTG - cagories: Systems, consumables, royalty, other.
Third series is FLow - assay, service, and system.
Yes. Just leave cells blank where there is no value for that series + category pair.
