    dynamic chart

    Hello,
    in the attached graph there are 9 rows B9:L17 and these are reported in the graph.
    If these rows are all filled in, the graph displays a series of 9 columns see photo1
    It is possible if only 4 lines are filled in, only a series of 4 columns is shown, see photo2
    I hope I explained myself

    Re: dynamic chart

    I see you start another post rather than complete your previous one.

    If you want categories to be excluded then you will either need to filter the data and set the chart to not show hidden cells.
    Or rebuild the chart data into a contiguous block using formula

    Or perhaps a pivot chart would work
    Cheers

    Ciao Max,

    In your attachment, change your named ranges to...

    _M1 =OFFSET('9R2'!$B$9,,,COUNTA('9R2'!$B$9:$B$17,"<>"))
    _M2 =OFFSET('9R2'!$F$9,,,COUNT('9R2'!$F$9:$F$17,"<>"))
    HTH
    Regards, Jeff

    Hi jeffreybrown your modified work well.
    Is a change possible?
    Also add column C to the M6 (define name) as an attached photo?

    Re: dynamic chart

    Hi jeffrey.
    Your modification works well.
    Only a small mistake.
    If only the values are entered in 1 row, the names of the ABCD/EFGH column they are only1
    If the values are entered in more than one line it works well

    Re: dynamic chart

    Thanks Jeffrey
    it's a nice solution.
    I could hide the column and show hidden data.
    But the original file isn't mine, it's from my office manager.
    is another alternative possible?
    Thank you

    Re: dynamic chart

    I put the as new column A and put it here
    the new formula that was in column D.
    We leave everything so it is a nice solution.
    Thank you so much
