Hello, Excel Gurus:
Please help on this one!!
I have two columns of data (A2:B2) with 1000 rows.
1. Entered in Column A2 are students names and B2 is the year they graduated.
2. I tried using pivot table to list the years (34 total) in 34 columns with the names sorted under the year they graduated.
3. When I put both heading under rows it was sorted correctly but under one column only.
How can I fix this to get the desire result?
Please help when you can. Thanks in advanced

I performed your request and it display "We can't recommend any PivotTables for the selected data because there are too many blank cells or duplicate valves, or not enough numerical columns." I was told to create a table first, whereas I could add records at a later time and refresh the new data. I think the pivot is the way to go so I hoping you can help. Thanks
Please attach a sample workbook (not a picture or pasted copy). Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.
Remember to desensitize the data.
Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.
I created the workbook with names that were made up.
You can do this with Power Query:
Close and Load To Table.
