Sift data & re-populate whole rows of data matching certain criteria on another tab

I have a spreadsheet where every row is another customer, (and the following columns are notes or dates, or dollar amounts) column D identifies that lead source.
I would excel to sift that sheet of data, and repopulate each whole row of data on another sheet that all has the same lead source (column D).
It would be like filtering, but it would be constantly filtering and updating as the data on the primary spreadsheet is added to, modified, or deleted from.
End game, I just want to go to a tab that has a real-time view of the customers and related details specific to a lead source.

Not sure if I posted this request for help in the right forum/category.

    Thank you all in advance!

Recommendation: Create ONE extra sheet with a Pivot Table on it using the main sheet as the pivot data source. Activate a SLICER on this pivot table linked to the LEAD SOURCE.

The end result will be a series of buttons (Lead Sources) at the top and clicking on any one will immediately display all the selected pivot info for that lead. This is a little more work to set up, especially if you're unfamiliar with pivot tables. But this worth doing, the result is SO good, easy to use in a single place, not flipping through numerous tabs.

    My two cents.

I took your advice and am super excited to learn pivot tables, but will admit i struggled. I continued to search for simpler solutions and found the query function accomplished my goal very simply! ...actually i couldn't believe how simple it is and plan to use that function A LOT more. Thank you for your help which I'm sure with your experience would probably do more for me than I could imagine. You rock!

I am so glad to hear this. PIVOT TABLES is one of the Excel-Life-Changing features, and now that you've broken ground on it, you're going to really excel at Excel, pun-intended.

When you start adding Pivot Charts to your Pivot Table, your brain will explode a little. People are going to start thinking you're a guru... so, be careful.
