Question Pivot Table Query - How can I match 2 sets of Data via Dates..

Hi all please sample document attached.

What I am trying to achieve is that I have 2 sets of data one which has numerous entries for each day in date order, then other is one set of numbers for each date.

The same range is the same 01/11/2018 - 31/12/2019

What I want to do is divide the entries per day via the big number in the other data set through a pivot table.

However when I try merge the data the big numbers dont follow the same date order and there unable to do a divison % of how many of the per entries vs the big number, split between the methods.

IF anyone can help be much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance..

Show us what your expected results should look like. Am unsure what you are saying. Mock it up manually for your example.

I have found a more manual way to do outside of Pivot, your initial assumption is half right I just need the big numbers to correspond per date instead it inflates and doesnt correlate properly in order to do my divison.

My manual way is sufficient and I've almost completed my task.

Therefore you can close the thread.

    Thanks for your efforts.

    Have a nice day.
