One slicer for two inverse pivot tables

    Hi all,

I'm curious if there is a way to make a single slicer filter "all but" in one pivot table, and "only" in another.

Essentially I have bunch of items, their usage dates, and usage duration. I want to be able to select an item on a slicer and have its average usage duration per quarter pop up compared to the average time of all items minus it.

I got the grouping by quarter down, and the basic slicer addition. I'm struggling with the execution of the slicer in such a way that it allows for the chosen item to be compared to the (rest - chosen). I know there has to be an easy way to do this, but right now all I see is a super inefficient VBA code that checks every slicer item.

    Thanks!
